Our chosen charity is the Wasdale Mountain Rescue. They are based just outside of Wasdale and are run by volunteers who are on call, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to recover climbers, reunite lost walkers with their friends and ensure injured and sick casualties are safely delivered into vital hospital care.
